Default lock out linkage

Hi all I just installed a set of Dougs D590C headers on my 69 GTO 400/400 auto trans. I was wondering what others have done to make the back lock linkage work their reverse and neutral safety switches? Or do most people just leave the linkage off? I would really like it to work and look factory. I posted this in the exhaust section and have not gotten any real replies. I am trying to get this car done in time for Norwalk I have been doing a frame off resto and working on it on and off for the last 7 years and it is finally close to being done. Thanks Rob.

My '69 GTO H/T has headers (but an M20) and the reverse lock linkage is tight, but it fits...

No help from me. I used the 2.5 in ram air 3 manifolds from Ram Air restorations.
