A family friend is finishing up his next book on musclecars and needed some shots of a GTO hence the artsy fartsy

They're the kind of pictures that bring the passion of the muscle car era front and center. All we need is the quiet background while everyone is changing out cheater slicks in the cool morning air at the local strip.

Those closeups show the level of detail you put into the restoration and just how clean and pristine everything is. For instance, the dual gate shifter looks brand new.

25 year long project this month! Plain jane Verdoro on black auto, like every other one off the line in '68.

My other pics in the thread seem to have disappeared so here's the whole car. Need to take some new ones with my black and yellow plates.

Ken, you've always had an awesome car and it's nice to see all the improvements you've made to it since the first time I saw it, even prior to meeting you. Congrats.

My brother found this old video of my car taken back in 1991. I had it for about a month at this point. I clearly did some work on it at this point - it has the custom sport steering wheel and the engine bay is kind of cleaned up but it's cool to see how it once was in it's original paint glory. Towards the end there's a later clip where it was in the process of getting prepared for it's first repaint in 1992.

If you want to see rough, my brother unearthed a video of my first '68 which was composed almost entirely of bondo and rust. I'll see if I can get that posted.

Based on the rocker arms that motor didn't go back together totally stock? You've taken on some big projects with that and your 66!
Let me know if you want to sell the original aluminum mags!

My car came from the factory with these wheel covers, and they are staying on it as long as I own the car. Click image for larger version

Mine in MT just after its 37 year nap in the garden. Much work done since May '16. More to go!
