Default 65 gto seat adjustment leaver

I'm getting working on my 65 gto seats and noticed that the driver seat adjustment leaver is pointing straight out towards the door and the passenger seat is pointing upwards are these the correct positions for the leavers or should both be pointing in the same direction? Thanks for any help.

Default seat tracks

I,m pretty sure the correct tracks for the 65 point up. Mine do and the ones in my parts car point up.

Default 65 GTO seat adjustment lever

the one that points out( has a 90 degree bend) is from a '64.
