If a late '69 'Bird came with a 9799914 block instead of the normal 69 0071 block, I know it still came with the 48 heads, but which waterpump did it get? The earlier cars got the short snout, and 70 and later cars got the long snout. Which is correct for this application?

I would think it still had the short pump.

actually some 70s still had short pump
