I know someone will point it out, the front bumper needs to be moved over to the passenger side by about a half inch. Unfortunately I am going to have to pull everything apart again as the bumper brakets themselves need to be bent. The original owner as he as getting older bumped into a few things now and then, hence the reason for the new header panel and the hood needing a bit of repair. Everything looks good now except the bumper needing to be centered!

67 LeMans she looks great. Nice job!

Now all you need to do is get those parking lights hooked up to come on with your headlights. Very simple to do.... one wire move on the switch. See the other Stickie at the top of this forum.

Just putting this out there if there is anyone interested. I may be selling my car in the near future. I found out in Aug 08 I am losing my vision. I am down to a sliver now however we have lost our home due to this mess and may need to sell the LeMans. Trust me, this will not be an easy decision but having somewhere to live is a higher priority as I have a disabled wife and a 12 y/o son still at home. If anyone may be interested feel free to PM me. I do not know what the car is worth, I know what I paid and what I have put into it, that's all I have to go by...

Thank you,
Joe

You need to do the parking light mod. Park lights on with headlights also.

On the list. Installed new sway bar bushings today. WOW, feels great now! I beleive I may have found an 8.2 posi unit that will take my 3.55 ring & pinion. If so, this will be the next big mod along with a set of air lift bags in the springs. We are also going to install the pre-bent brake line kit that I had sitting here since the 4-wheel power disc brake conv. Then I beleive I also have an NOS dash clock and an NOS vaccuum gauge to be installed. Those two things will really add to the interior!

Two pics from a couple of hours ago. They look great in B&W which is how I printed them. However, I was unable to post them in B&W as they changed to a TIFF format...

Here is mine . last two owners tried weak GTO clone job, first guy was a pro second a beginner who mesed up the finish work on first guys work. too much to replae the GTO panels but the GTO tags and Firechicken seats are coming off/out, the keystones are already gone and are being replaced w 15" Rally II's. The damage is done w the SBc install so it will get a built 596 HP 496 BBC (needed a break in car) At least until I can locate and build a 428 or 455 + T400

Here is mine - I'm the 3rd owner, and have had it since 2005.

Since then, rebuilt the engine, new 200 4R transmission, disc brakes, new shocks and swaybars. Car drove up from LA to Oakland no sweat. After getting all the mechanical and drivetrain sorted out, decided I wanted to repaint. Has been in resto mode for past several years; about to be done.

Latest pictures here; will have more pictures next week (better than my iPhone) of the interior, which now has carpet, seats, and a new top.
