Default GTP SC ?

I had my 98 GTP jacked pretty high on the drivers side only, working on the typical northern rusty brake lines ( under the holding clips rusted and blew ) With the car jacked in that position oil was dripping out of the snout of the SC. The are no signs of any major leaking around that end previously. What do I need to look at or take care of obviously there is a seal there. Should I just change the oil and just refill it and just watch for signs of leaking under normal conditions. I took off the SC belt for now. Don

Depending on how expensive a new seal & installation might cost, I would be considering just changing the oil and watching it closely for a while. I would imagine all of the older ones seep a minute amount of oil. Maybe you could top it off with 5w30 to scrutinize whether it is leaking enough to change the seal. Then pull the snout and refill with the proper SC oil.

Don't take any chances with that blower. If it is high mileage it probably needs to be serviced (bearings, seals and clearances checked) If it is low mileage, I would change the seal and change the oil. (OH, and put on a smaller pulley HEHE)

3 inch pulley is lots of fun but H@ll on KR.
Agree, pull the snout and redo, along with a new coupler.
