Default 68 GTO parts wanted

This is my first time out, so be gentle!

I just started working on a '68 GTO Conv. restoration. It is a numbers match, 4-speed car. It was in pieces when I got it, so it is a huge undertaking. I am in need of a right fender and trunk lid.

As you all probably know, most repro fenders are junk. If you know of any that aren't please advise.

I am getting ready to order door skins and quarter skins, probably from Goodmark.

I just browsed the PY catalog on line, ordered a copy, and it looks like they have a lot of stuff. I also need a set of chrome valve covers and an air cleaner(4 barrel)

Thanks, Big Red

Big Red,

Welcome to the forums. A friend has a good 68 trunk lid. I have a nice 68 chrome lid single snorkel air cleaner. FWIW the repro quarters I have used fit well especially for a 68. Not sure about convertible fit however.

We have many other parts too so check out my website.

Thanks, John
