I need to replace the tank- to- fuel pump fuel line on my '71 455 HO Formula. Are the ones offered by our host PY okay? And does anyone know if the front half of the line can be replaced with the motor in place? Thanks for any help on this.

I went with Inline tube. I bought the stainless lines but I would not recommend stainless as they are difficult to bend if you need to make minor tweaks which will have to do. Good news is I put my lines in with the motor in place. Bad news is that I had to unbolt the frame on the passenger side, drop it down an inch or two, slide the line in and raise the frame back into place. If you need to replace the body mounts, now is the time to do it as you have to unbolt half of them anyway. I needed to remove my headers as well. With the money saved over the stainless lines, You may want to consider replacing the front brake lines too as a lot of the same parts will have to come out to replace those too.

Thanks for the quick reply Formula8...I'll have to plan this out now...lift the motor and fix the also damaged pan, or drop the rail, do the brake line etc...gotta go have another beer to help decide...
