Default Rear hatch adjustment? '91 'bird?

I did some searches through this thread, and didn't find anything on possible adjusments on rear hatch glass. Is there an adjustment that can be made? My mother's '91 seems to overhang the tailights nearly an inch and a half. All the hinge mounts seem fixed, not oblong to allow adjustments. My fear is the upper hinges over time have slow bent downward from the constant pressure of the gas strut rods. It has always overhung some, but not this bad.

The hatch is adjustable at the body attachment. You need to remove the plastic interior panel between the headliner and rear tach to access them. The gas lift struts also need to be disconnected or they will push the hatch towards the rear of the car once the hinge nuts are loosened.
