Default Another bench bleeding question...

So once you get your master cylinder bench bled...how are you supposed to remove the bleeders and install your hard lines without getting brake fluid EVERYWHERE? I've dry tested the procedure and the minimum I can remove a bleeder and get the line hooked up is about 20 seconds, and up to a minute if I cant get it threaded immediately. I guess not much air will get back into the thing, but wont it leak all over as I do this? Am I just supposed to put a big towel under it to catch it?

Thanks

once bench bleeding is done put the cap on the master cylinder reservoir, tilt the unit onto its side so the bleeder hoses are pointing up and remove them. With the cylinder in the same position, move to the car. Rotate the cylinder to line up with the brake lines and thread the lines in. You may lose a drop or two of fluid, but not enough to really matter. Once tightened up and mounted to the booster or firewall, bleed the rear then front brakes one at a time making sure that the fluid level in the cylinder doesn't run out.

This was a PITA procudure when I did mine. I had clear coated the new Inline Tube MC and the running of the brake fluid ruined the coating...
