Cool Washed my 68GTO today (2nd time this year)

Yep, I gave the 68GTO a wash. Never know if it might get a camera on it or not.

Here's the point. For curiosity (yea giggles) I poured clear AMMONIA into the "soap" option on me garden hose and wetted the car down. The water seemed to bead pretty well & where the water wasn't, the paint looked real clean & film-free. The tire rubber & rims seemed to come clean rather quickly too.

So, all said & done, it took to shammy-cloth real well despite the rather cool day.

Does anyone here use diluted ammonia (rather than soaps) to wash?

My Cars have never felt hose water on their bodies since I have them. When it rains I pull them out and wash them. Not a single water spot.

My car gets a bath once a season. Other than that, it stays pretty clean.
