Default Anyone have an old trans am model they want to part out?

I'm building a AMT 1-25 72 GTO model into a 72 Lemans convertable and need a formula wheel and a shaker scoop to match my Lemans. Yes I have a shaker on me Lemans, long story. I don't want to buy a TA model just to get 2 parts.

I have the engine done and detailed nicely, added a home made dual snorkel air cleaner, A/C and some other goodies that did not come with the kit. I switched it back into a automatic by modding the center console and put in a his and hers shifter which I made out of scrap plastic that came with the kit. I built a gto spoiler out of scrap too. The top is chopped into a convertable and I successfully turned the enduro front end into a regular Lemans, even got the grills right I need a small piece of orange reflective tape to finish the valence- I need it for parking lamps. I am suprised how good it is coming out since I havent built a model in like 30 years.

The kit is alright though rough, does not come with windshield, fan shroud, and some detail is lacking or incorrect, I do not know how far I will get into it but so far so good. I'm still thinking of a way to make a top boot since I want it top down for now.

I might have what you need....although it might be 1/24 scale. Kept all the models & parts since I was a kid.

I think 1/24 and 1/25 is pretty close. I am trying to figure out a way to sculpt one but it won't be the same, i'm not that good. Even a impression in clay would work I could get some resin to make one.

ok, I have 2 formula steering wheels - 1/25 and 1/24, and a shaker from a 1978 1/24 model - I cut it a bit but should be able to be repaired.

You can have everything for shipping cost

Thats awesome!! I woul love the wheel and the shaker with the base, I was thinking of using the roof I cut off to make the base but if I can get one...
Shipping sounds good to me, lets move the dirty deal to the PM's I'm excited.

Andre, I posted some of the initial pics in this thread. OK I am not the best model builder and it is a learning process, but so far I am happy with the results. I will start a new thread when I get done and post all the pics.
