I can't speak for the other makes of cars besides his Pontiacs, but I really doubt there are many Pontiac parts at all. Milt is not a 'parts collector' like a lot of us are. He generally doesn't stockpile parts for future projects. I know that I've helped him find and even provided some parts for his cars in the past. He just searched out the parts as he needed them.

Any predictions on the 71 Judge in herd? 4 speed is bonus, recent paint and mostly original. Sold for 300k plus before painting a few years ago?

Can it go for more??

i will confirm, that was one of the nicest unmolested cars i have ever owned. i owned it for many years and it is a true 70k pampered mile car. the interior was absolutely flawless and there was not so much as any wear on it at all. it had seat covers on it when i got it and they were the ones that didnt put any indentations anywhere. it was garaged its entire life. the trans shifted like a brand new car. it drove straight as an arrow. everything worked perfectly. not even any exhaust leaks. and it is hard hard loaded. jim mattison told me one time that it had more options than any of the other 71 judge converts. it has every kind of paperwork imagineable from the dealer order sheet, dealer inspection sheet, original title, original build sheet removed when new, a picture of it right when it was unloaded off the transport truck even before it was dealer prepped, etc.... whoever gets this car will have what has to be the nicest unmolested judge convert in existance.

I remember when you got it - there just weren't enough nice things you could say about it.

Go get it back!

the thought has crossed my mind and steved calls and tells me to do it on a regular basis. i personally would have rather have it the way it was. when i owned it, i would take my kid to school and back in it. funny how nobody really knew what it was. i got alot of looks and a few nice gto comments and a few that isnt a real judge because they didnt make them in converts. but the car is too nice now. i dont do trailer queens anymore. they are just not for me.

You know what the difference is between a trailer queen and a daily driver?

About 1000 miles - go get it and drive it home!

My catalog came today. This is one fine catalog with some pictures of cars you may never, ever see. The variety within the 50 cars is spectacular. Even though I've known Milt for over 25 years, I've not been to this new place or seen several of these cars. Even though I'm planning on attending the auction, the catalog itself was worth the money!

We know what else you did with that car too!

Did you do the same with the Judge?

Ok guys, who's coming to the auction? I'd like for all of us to get together after the auction on Saturday night at my son's place. Here's the link: http://locosgrill.com/locations/10/SugarloafFive-Forks. It's about 10 minutes off of I-85 half way back toward Atlanta from the auction. It would be nice to have a count beforehand. The first round of beers will be on me!

BJ, I invited the club to come by after the auction, last I heard the Board of Directors was considering it, but there was nothing in the newsletter about it, so I don't know what is up with that. But I'm sure if they decide to come at the last minute we can accommodate them.
