Windshield Wiper Nut Tool
Can anyone sell me or tell where I can find a windshield wiper Nut Tool? I bought one from Year one and it does not fit the 1968 Pontiac LeMans Dash. Attached is a chevy Windshield Wiper Nut Tool. It is to big to fit my Pontiac. The tool is used to remove the washer ring that holds the switch in the dash.

Windshield Wiper Nut Tool
No sorry the tool I need has two small slots about 1/4 inch apart. It would look like the tool you mentioned but alot smaller O.D. to go inside the knob. Thanks for your help. I guess I'll just fight it with a set on needle nose pliers again. But if anyone has any ideas please let me know!

You can make one using an old deep socket and cutting away the top unwanted areas with a cutoff wheel,if you know what I'm trying to say.

Looks like an easy tool to fab.......Flat stock,drill center hole as needed,drill holes for a couple of roll pins spaced as required.......JB.

Certain electronics tool manufacturers actually make the tool you're looking for...Don't know ahat it's called but I've had several over the years. Looks just like a screwdriver with a hollow shaft with two 'nibs'. In fact, I have one now.
It's commonly used to install and remove volume control potentiometers and such from electronics devices. Try a company called "Xcelite". Now, as stated earlier, you could easily make one from a socket or a regular nut driver. Just grind away the edge of the socket except for the two 'nibs' at the needed locations. Wouldn't take 5 minutes with a bench grinder.
