Gosh golly mister, you sure are smart.

It's a spacer if you plan on running your 9.45 normally aspirated...

The NO2 stuff will not be on the engine when you run on the 2nd, eh?

You might as well get the runs in for the license. You need six runs total. Really easy at arent day.
In NHRA, you need to have your physical 1st before you make licensing runs.

Are you sure? I thought you could do them in either order. I do know the license dates from the physical, not the passes.

He promise me by the Nov, 24.

Here's a picture of what has to be added for the car to certify for 8.50's. Kevin ( from Atco )told me they could inspect my car and give me a 90 day certification..Maybe I can even get my licence same day. I think this guy is a little high on doing the cage...the black out areas in the picture is whats already there, the white tubing is what he has to add. $1100.00 bucks...I figured $650.00 would be the most...but he's doing it on short notice.
Typically $200 per point in moly for a new install. 10 pt = 2k

Wink

Download the form off the NHRA website. Get a physical. Get ready to be probed. LOL. Also make sure he has an EKG machine. Need to send that along at your age. Just renewed mine in September.

Track rental. Should be enough guys to sign the NHRA forms when ya make the passes. Need 2 or 3. Can't remember. They have to have a Comp license too.

Then good to go for 2 years.

Where else but PY do you get a chance to sort your car out, paid by a few making license passes and then make a blast to run a 9.45 or quicker.

Couldn't get a better deal in my opinion. And to think the "posse" is paying the whole shot!

This thrashing reminds me of another thrash that was done by a guy whose name rhymes with "ball rash", remember? He spent all that money and still couldn't outrun the Dude?

Those were the good times. After the Farmington N.C. race he went out and spent over $7K with upgrade for our next Match race. Then couldn't get the car done in time for Maple Grove.
I know Cass had it on tape back then at N.C. and someone saved it.
Anyone have that race, need to get it. Thanks.

Hope this isn't another flashback to MG and the car gets "stuck" in the shop. LOL.

Ball Rash did get it together eventually..right? I remember seeing the car get turned in the Atco (or Engishtown?) box. Either right after the burnout or at the launch. Seem to recall he hurt the engine on that run.

He had it together for Norwalk 2 weeks later for a rematch. But spit so much oil out the rear main they shut him down. Then he stuck & 200 mph taped a towel under the pan and still oil everywhere. It Shut off on the burnout. Pushed back and the rest is in the History books. Last I heard he sat in his pick up all weekend huffin NauZZZZZZZZZZZ and getting high. LOL.

Was a cool dude thou and had fun on PY with all the razzing back & forth sh*t talking. The man could talk some sh*t. I had nothing on him.

Yep.
From Rulebook:

Quote:
All license applicants are required to have a physical examination
before making any test runs. Physical forms and license applications
are available from NHRA headquarters or your division office.
(Physical expires every two years. License expires with physical.)
Likewise, the vehicle used for test runs must be current with respect
to rules and regulations for the class/license being applied for.
You get the track owner to sign off on the form with the licensed witnesses.

And yes the date of the license is from the date of the physical.
So, if you got the physical last year and make the passes now, it would expire in a couple days.

One of the guys that frequents the classic funny car board bought Rash's car as a roller...hasn't done a thing with it though.

When I got my nhra lisc this year I was told to have the phySdical first. I'm young enough where I did not need EKG. But over 60? I think u need it. I can sign your lisc if you can't find a door car driver down there. It has to be same body style et lisc for someone to be able to sign
Then send it to div one office in Pa along with 250$ish for 2 yr lisc from date of physical
