Jerry
I do not know all the specifics other than he had a "fistula" that was causing problems with his intestines. As many know he suffers from Crohn's. He will be out for 6 weeks.

Ron, recover quickly.

I talked to Miranda briefly last night and she said Ron was in good spirits.

Thank you EVERYONE for your thoughts and prayers. Yes,... in great spirits after my 5 hours of surgery.... it went well.

I have a bag.... although a temp ileostomy. It should be reversed by end of March after the resection of my sigmoid colon heals. The ileostomy worked out well since the blockage I had at Norwalk...cut that section of diseased bowel out.

So,.. in short, my blockage, fistula and stricture of my sigmoid colon have all been taken care of. I'll have the ileostomy reversed in mid to end of March. I'm happy to go through this surgery again to reverse it, and should be good for another 20 years.

I am a happy (but hurting) camper.... but Dilaudid, and valium is keeping me in check... Thank God from my beautiful wife, my two wonderful boys, my family,.. and you guys,... My Darksider brothers.

Ron

Ron,

We are so glad to hear of your progress and happy to have you back among the Darksiders. Enjoy your time with the family. Take advantage of the down time.

I am very happy that things are working out for you. You'll be back with grease on your hands in no time!

I hope the price for body parts scrap is up so you were able to recoup some there.
