Nice work, Mike, by John Marcella of Marcella Manifolds.

Funny how everything that guy knows about Pontiacs, either you, Bill K, or I taught him! (;>)

All kidding aside, I really wish I could just "make it on his list" for a set of heads he has ported.

Wow! Sounds like it's going to be a beast! The port work and flow sheet look great!

Bottom nines indeed

That's really impressive. I only wish I could have spent more time at the beach and paid someone else to do what I was looking for? Is that a 63 Tempest in the background? I almost feel violated as my combo will make it into a light weight body, hey I have an idea, are you looking for a driver? Sure would save me bunches of time and money. Great work.

Very nice work and outstanding flow numbers! Keep us posted on the dyno effort. She ought to shake the building... Any pics of the chamber?

Killer combo for sure. Similar to what I had before I decided on the turbo conversion.
You are going to dyno before installation?

It looks like he has this port in cnc Tom, get yourself a set of cv1's and Id bet John would hook you up.. That's one thing guys have to remember, you can save a ton of money with cv1 cnc port work because the head porter only has to do one port, then that port can be cnc' everywhere else, the casting is so high quality tolerances are not an issue while running a cnc in this head..

I am a auto painter Calvin. I painted John's 68 Firebird for the cylinder head work. I have known him for 20 years. I don't get much beach time either! lol Yes it is a 63 LeMans in the background. This isn't going to be a dedicated race car though. It WILL see street time!

No Ken I didn't get any velocity numbers. I took John(I have known him a long time) the heads, told him what I wanted to do and left them in his hands. Time will tell if it is successful. The clocks don't lie!

311 cfm at .400 lift, 370 at .500 lift, and 411 at .600 lift are some excellent flow numbers for a "Street Head" and Mike WILL drive this engine on the street.

Wow, thats some nice flowing heads!!! I know when I almost signed up on here (i had just gotten a computer and this was 1 of the sites my engine builder mentioned to check out) there was some idiot saying these heads were never going anywhere, blah blah blah, but these numbers prove that pro from a big name shop was either lying or really had no clue. These heads are gonna make someone's car fly!!!! No wonder my engine guy likes these heads!
