Yes she is; no "boyfriends" though . She hasn't driven the GP yet but I did let my wife drive it the other day (first time).

Just got back from the AACA Fall Meet @ Hershey, PA. One of the attendees - Greg Fasolt - was nice enough to post some shots of my '65 2+2 at http://picasaweb.google.com/GFasolt/...GQ&feat=email#

here's my '64 2+2 with it's 'summer set' of wheels and tires, motor wheel spyders and hurst re-capped slicks. the 'winter set' are firestone 205s and 235s with the canadian caps on 15x6 wheels.

i know some of you guys from the hamb, but for those of you who don't, i'm a quadriplegic. this has hand controls and i just got to drive it for the first time last month at the hunnert car pileup.

it's been 4+ years in the works, with a lot of volunteer help. saved from a salvage yard, it has a '70 400/400, 6x heads, headers, a 770 holley avenger on a p4b, 3.42 posi, a fresh interior with 'as-found' paint and body...

my B&M ratchet fits right in the stock slot...

driving down the street!

at the yard, as we found it. it almost went into the shredder! this was a late model wrecking yard, they just don't hold this kind of stuff...

I received the following pictures from George Cox, Colorado Springs. George is an airline pilot, and was visiting the Shanghai Auto Museum during a trans-Pacific layover.

First I've heard of this car. It appears this is China's first car museum, it opened in 2007, and the cars are apparently on-loan from the Blackhawk Collection.

Anyone know anything more about this car?

Very cool car...interesting GP rocker mouldings on that Cat...hey if you're interested in saving a few pounds, GP grilles are much lighter.

What is the title of the thread in the Race forum?

THanks! Yeah, i know the grilles are a little lighter...i like the GP grilles, but probably wont change them out. HOw much lighter? this car has been in my family since 1973, mouldings have always been there, i believe the interior is Ventura...this car also had 8lugs, which i still have and may re-install once i have the fronts re-lined. It was 389 2bbl car...it had dual exhaust on it either from the factory or shortly thereafter...the brackets are still there and bolted from the top side of the frame(look factory). It was most likely ordered by someone and not just a dealer ordered car. I need to do a PHS on this car... and i'd love the window sticker deal...do they do that? or is it someone else?
THanks, BRent
THe title on race forum is somethin bout ''action shots''...usually on the first page of the threads....

This picture of my 64 GP was taken at the dragstrip in Bremerton, WA. in 1996. The original 389 4bbl was rebuilt with an 068 cam and correct 64 Tri-Power. It ran the 1/4 in 15:28 seconds with the old automatic that had Reverse where 1st should be and a 3:42 rear gear.

I added the 64 wood wheel, tach, guages and an am/fm radio. It was a fun daily driver, sold it around 1999. The guy that bought it painted it black and put redlines on it, very nice!
