Default Quality of aftermarket fenders "new tooling"

Im contimplating new aftermarket fenders, Some dealers are saying new tooling-great fit.
Has anybody tried these yet. How about aftermarket endura bumpers? Thanks again

the 68/69 fenders are notoriously "bad"......

i've seen this reported recently, a "new" run of them, although i'm highly skeptical of that until i see something from PY or ames regarding it.

it's common knowledge the current batch takes some massaging, and if you read the notes in the ames catalog, they take it to the next level. they basically say "use as last resort".

some here have noted it wasnt as bad as described, the metal work and fabbing needed to make right. others have said it's a total PITA and takes hours of labor.

you might want to make a call to PY or ames and ask if there is in fact a new run with new and presumably ( hopefully ) better tooling.

if there is, i would imagine they'd want to be all over it, either to sell or verify it's fit out of the box.

Agreed,I would call.I had a pair I used on a customers car and they needed a ton of work.There is a member on here that used them and said they fit fine I cant give a recomendation based on the pair I used.
