I went to the same Fedex drop off we always use with two packages to be sent out. Because of Turkey day it had closed early. The sign on the door said there is no pick up today. So it looks like Friday those two packages will be sent with at least two others that Ron is finishing up tomorrow.

Yep. I got a call from Ron this weekend and he told me mine would be going out today. I got the tracking number from FedEx just a few minutes ago. I have 2 sets coming.

I have never talked to him before but was impressed that he is getting them done. An LLC or corporation would have folded and set up shop again under another name. He is the first guy I have ever seen to get in over his head like that and figure a way to make good on his promise after he was flat broke. Some thought I was crazy for ordering another set but sometimes a man needs a hand and since it looked like he was really trying and with Aaron backing him, I decided to give him another chance. I'm glad I did.
He indicated that he was close to getting them all built but needs to keep the money coming in to pay for the rest of the materials he needs and shipping, which is pretty expensive. He also mentioned that he had no headers on his own car because he was deterimined to be the last in line and wouldn't build himself a set until he fulfilled his obligations to everyone. Once he catches up, I hope he raises his prices. He is way underpriced for hand built headers. If I was one of the guys who has waited years, I'd be mad too. But I have to say I am a fan of what he is doing now. He is doing all he can to make things right. Hopefully that will be pretty soon because I need those 2" primaries for my 535! hey anyone know if Ron will sell an unwelded set?? working on the Volvo project car were trying to figure out what frame rail distance we going to use. I may have to modify depending if i plan on going inside or outside the rails. Thinking outside and making custom turn outs that can have side pipes attached Like old school.

That may be correct I haven't rasied prices because of the economy for 2 years but everything I pay for keeps going up and 15-20% at that! Dumpster, alarm company, oxygen, and for sure insurance.

Not sure if this is ok with the mods, but I bought a second set to expedite my order. I have a post in the performance part FS forum. Not trying to scalp them, just want to break even.

The ports look so much nicer on these versus the D-port style.

Yes, he is getting better all the time. I just had to do some clean up with some sand rolls on mine and they look pretty good. Of course, the openings are much bigger on the header than they are on the head, so it's just a feel good thing. It will make absolutely no difference in performance.

Let me get this right...that last pic was the 2" primary header? Correct?
What size is the intermediate pipe? |

These are not 2 inch primaries.

Some of that looks like TIG weld. Is it? That would be so, so much better than the migs. But, they are nice headers. I just took mine to the coater this weekend, and I'll hopefully have some cools pics next week.

I've moved on. I am not sending any more cash to get them and one day if they show up so be it. I am still VERY disappointed in the zero communication factor and lack of knowing who is getting what and when.

Thats the best way crustysarge. It will do you no good to worry about it and they'll come when they come. I had long since given up when I got mine.
