Going after Ron legally will not help anyone here, if he has no money to ship then where will he find money to pay you back?
David since u have that set of headers maybe just donate them to crusty to make him Happy? I know that is asking alot, but if it helps everyone else keep there stuff coming then it's worth it right? Just a sugestion

As Aron stated so eloquently, NOTHING we can say will deter crustysarge from doing whatever he plans on doing if he's committed to doing it, even if it means that EVERYONE else has to suffer the consequences of his actions. His goal is not to help anyone here, only himself.

You can't get money out of a rock. If crusty is successful he will only get the satisfaction of doing in a "crook", but will probably not get his money back or his headers, as Ron has neither to give, even if a court orders it.

Well, not quite true John......Ron COULD provide a set of headers. They would just be uncoated.

Would crusty find that acceptable? I suspect not, correct?

Davids set is O-port & crusty's are D-port so a swap is not an option.

And he would have to pick them up.............. Most likely would have to post bail just to build his set which wouldn't happen. Remember we sold everything so bail? So No he probably wouldn't be any better off.

Its obviously not about getting headers or money because all the actions show they do come subject to sales or just a temporary shipping expense. THAT IS NOT LOST in the end.
So making it so that you don't receive anything & others too?

May be related or maybe not but there's two sets going out (janderson) Mon & Wed (76LQ9TA )that paid the shipping. Both are old orders so they will obviously be using them this summer. Then they will get a check in the mail at some point & they know it.

There's another old set that Ron is hoping to go out next Fri but might end up the Mon after. Only because he is trying to fit in a newer set from across the pond.

But even with that being said. Ron doesn't let the name calling stop him from doing what he said he would do. Even if others actions slow it down.

There was a set mailed on last Mon to a coater on the east coast that the customer picked out.

Sure looks like Ron is completing quote crusty "contracted services, a reimbursement,"

Dewayne
I looked back through the records & yes you will get an email when yours are ready to ship. You still owe the shipping so that's not a concern at the moment & makes it easier.

crusty
Ron worked until 2:45am so his COD is very different that yours.

Deanna, please pass on to Ron that the vast majority of us believe in him and are pulling for him!!! God bless you both!

I'm glad that headers are slowing rolling out the door. $1500 headers for much less should make anyone happy, even if they have to wait for a while (years?).

FYI, H-O HR-98s (original Tri-Ys) were $119 in the late 1970s, which adjusted to present cost (CPI) would be around $450. Of course, H-O Racing had to buy 50 lots at a time to even get the interest of sub-manufacturers. This did NOT include round port or multiple chassis fitment.

Many are quick to make assumptions about me when they have no idea who I am or what I stand for and believe. I believe in free market and small business but, I will not stand for fraud or deception in that process.

I continue to ask the question "Where is the person I gave my funds to?" Why does HE choose to not communicate with a buyer or others? I continue to receive no response. As I said before, I am sure the vendor has good intentions, but so did I when sent those funds and was in return given broken promises. All the vendor has to do is communicate with me and we could resolve this issue. I am sure if I owed funds I would be getting communication from a vendor.

All Ron has to do is tell me his plan and I will wait but HE chooses not to do so. Instead an unkoown 3rd party offers to act on his behalf offering the product for additional funds. No offense to you Aron.

I am not going to get into a verbal internet game those who slander others because it serves no purpose. I do enjoy the Na$i references though, very well thought out scenario to compare me to a Na$i sympathizer. Well thought out indeed. I guess that is why I wore the uniform of the United States Air Force from the age of 17 for 22 years and continue to work for the US Army as a civilian. A Na$i sympathizer, OK, sure.

If those who oppose me feel so strongly about this then tell the vendor to contact me.

This will be my last post on this subject unless Ron contacts me.

Crustysarge, I can completely relate to what you are thinking, but seriously, if you have been following along through this whole deal, you would know by now that Ron is not going to communicate with you or anybody else. So to draw a line in the sand like that is stupid. Just go ahead and do what you want. You can start suing and all that about a 700 dollar set of headers, but your not going to get anything and its just going to cost you more money. I gaurantee that you can call the authorities untill you are blue in the face. They don't give two sh!ts about a set of headers. The whole country is on drugs and they are not even doing anything about that. You think they are going to fly in there and get your headers? Good luck. Best thing you can do is just forget about the headers, and one day you'll get them. Lesson learned, don't pay in advance.

Crustysarge does have all good points and he can / will do whatever he wants. He is not wrong for simply expecting what he paid for. I do think contact in some way to people that are owed headers would be nice but that is Ron's decision.

Legally I really don't think anything would be enforced. Even if they did decide to look into it and they see the bankrupty and Ron's decision made to not include customers and the continuous attempt to fill the back-orders he will not be labled as a scam or a thief. Tribal Tunes has an internet presence that hides nothing people still chose to place new orders which make it possible for "owed" headers to get filled. I bought and received O ports and they are a quality piece. If needed I would order another set from Ron.

Is it so hard to understand that anything that prevents new orders from being placed is directly responsible for delaying old orders from being filled.

Exactly. Anybody that has ordered in the last 5 or 6 years ought to know exactly what they are getting into. Ron makes cool headers but there is absolutely no way to know how long its going to take to get them, and there will be no flow of information. Read the last 40 pages before you order.

Ya know Ron really should have declared bankruptcy when the first people screwed him over and took all his money, that way we wouldn't have all this complaining about how long it takes to get our headers Then we could all be out money and he could be on his merry way instead of selling all his stuff and trying to do right by all these winey bi*#%es.
These are a one man operation header that is something NOBODY produces and would have been going smoothly had companies and "do gooders" not taken advantage of him. He is not a company, he is like any of you or I that thought it would be cool to make some nice try Y's for the Pontiac community. People are getting headers. If you are on a timetable get Headmans. They should fit pretty close and perform O.K. But, If you want quality, order Tri Y's from Ron and wait for "Christmas".

Guys...Deanna was perfectly correct. It takes 3 sets of headers ordered per month to keep the doors open so that any old orders even go out. It isnt easy. That said....

TRIBAL TUBES WOULD LIKE TO REGRETFULLY ANNOUNCE A PRICE INCREASE FOR THESE HAND BUILT HEADERS. 1 3/4" headers will be $495 uncoated starting Feb 1st. When you consider that they were $489 in 2006 when Doug's was making them for Ron you may realize its still a great price. Get your orders in now if you want the old price.

Also, I made a post in the boosted section. I am taking orders for new single and twin turbo headers for delivery at the end of Feb. Info is in that section.
