Default 65 GTO wheel codes

Ok I see we have a few thread.going.on this and in each one the topic seem to.go.off to like chevy or 64 gtp and I just got confused and my head started to hurt. So what codes am I to look for on a black steel wheel for a.65 GTO with a 389 tri power and a.4sp. And where are these.codes.at. I tossed my wheels in the barn 30 years ago and now have to dig thur all the other wheels to see where there at. Thanks.

They would be stamped 14 X 6 JK on the inside of the rim (the part you can't see when a tire is mounted) Probably also a Kesley Hays logo and date code like "3 65". Might be another code stamped by the valve stem. Not sure what that would be, but someone will post that info soon.

Anybody know code difference for a 64 vs a 65? And location of code? Thanks Jon
