I just purchassed a Speaker switch off ebay. Anyone have pointers on easy removal for this switch? Does the dash Bezel have to come out? or can I just unscrew the two screws and unplug the wires for removal?

I have a similar switch from a 66 Pontiac. I don't suppose you could pm me as to how much you paid for it. Not sure what I should sell mine for.
thanks |

I purchassed it last night for $52.00 off ebay. The chrome is supposed to be mint on this switch. The one in my car the chrome is peeling.

You should be able to unplug old and replace with me. If someone is trying to add this to their car, they will need to make a cutout in the dash for the switch. They are to be had for anywhere from $5.00 to $75.00. I too purchased one on ebay within the past week for less that listed here.

Do the wires disconnect from the switch itself???
I know these switches are hard to find with good chrome. So I'm thinking $52 was a great price! |

No, the wires do not disconnect from the switch. You'll need to remove the dash pad to make this easier and avoid headaches. If this is a non-A/C car, it's even easier.
