Arrow 69 Barn Find

From Mopar forum as alerted by Tim S. on this forum

http://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/...gonew=1#UNREAD

To see pictures, click on "attachment" in the thread header by GTSuperbee

Appears to be a Mayfair maize car, 4-spd with 25K miles and a steep rear gear - could it be a WS? Looking for more information on it as available

Cool.

Interesting. I like the Mayfair Maize cars myself. Looks fairly unmolested too, except for the Holley. Sidepipes and 14" Cragars tell that it was put away back in the day.
Interesting to see the positive comments from the Mopar guys.

Cool find, but I'd almost bet on 125000 miles before I would 25000 miles. My 1-owner 68 that came out of Michigan with 68,xxx miles was 10 times cleaner and 4 times more solid than that.

I could believe 25,000 miles - with the speedo cable hooked up. 100,000 without...........

Mileage debate aside... wondering with 4:56 gears what the chances are that it is a RA car? or maybe a Judge?

Slim to none. 4:56 was a popular hot rod gear combo and this looks like it was an original paint low buck street racer. No ram air pull, hood or Judge indications. They probably would have kept the ram air stuff...hood anyway.

Most Pontiac projects have already been "screened" and this car looks like it wasnt hidden to well either.

I bet half a dozen Pontiac guys have looked it over already and its probably nothing special, thus why it hadnt sold....plus owner thinking its worth a small fortune.

This car would be very hard to justify sinking money in, assuming its a plain jane 400.

IMO.
