We are doing a 69 and a 70 right now and are using the repop core support on both. I will try to post some pics of how to fix the problems . I just fit one on the 69 today and did notice the angle of the shroud peice but otherwise the normal minor issues. I put one on my 69 last year and had no issues with the upper parts, just the normal trim the lower corners and trim out the hole for the harness grommet otherwise evrything else fit perfect.

Found the major problem with the core support. Seems as though the bottom is installed at the wrong angle. The top easily moved, but the bottom is at the wrong angle which pushes the shroud up so the combination of both those problems and the other problem with the aftermarket motor mounts = fan hits bottom of shroud. Dont know the exact cure, besides drilling spotwelds out of bottom and twisting to correct angle so the shroud lays properly. I took a pipe wrench to the bottom and gave it a tweak and straightened up the top with a hand sheet metal bender, shroud fits a lot closer and will hopefully at least help maybe not cure the problem

I bought mine when they were first coming out and am pleased with it so far. I look at it as its aftermarket and will need tweaking. I have it bolted in but im not a body man and will never claim to be one but everthing seemed to fit pretty good. I am not building a trailer queen or a show only car. Im building it to drive. The radiator and shroud fit great as well as the harness. The only thing I had to do was cut away some metal where the A/C dryer goes so I can hook up the line.
