From the pictures it looks like a tread seperation issue. Call Contential directly. Most tire manufactures will warranty manufacture defects for 6 years. After that they drop all warranties.
I have worked at Discount Tire for almost 4 years and based on what I am seening the tire failed. I would replace the others as well. Contentials are pretty decent tires. Michelins are by far the best with Bridgestone coming a close second. IMO I would stay away from anything that has the Goodyear name on it.
