Default Help!! 67 GTO Rear Disc brake install???

I have a 1967 gto with a 70 12 Bolt rear 373 gears and a c-clip illiminator set up and want to trash the rear pads & drums and install a disc brake set up. Who might be able to walk me thru this??????? C-clip aluminum housings or brackets are right in the road of everything!! I cannot install my emergancy brake cable because of this. Open for options here. Can i just shorten up my axles and illiminate the aluminum brackets or is it not worth going that route??? Car is 75% drag and 25% street. Car is only a 13 sec. car but i want more stopping power. I need step by step instructions on how to change it over. Also have Fine lines proportioning valve set-up when i put disc up front. Open for all ideas before summer arrives. I don,t want to go no more than 2 to 300.00$ on the rebuild. Any ideas.
