Default 15" Tire Brands

I will be looking for a set of 15" tires with raised white letters to fit the theme of my 72 lemans street car. It seems like there are only 4 options:

BFG Radial TA
Firestone Indy 500
Goodyear GT II
Mickey Thomson ST

Any reccomendations? I am more concerned with traction and performance than long tread life.

Thanks,
Mike

I believe the Cooper Cobra is still available as well.

What kind of use are they going to see? Just mild cruising, aggressive cornering or acceleration, etc.

The BFG T/A is an okay tire but it is impossible to hook up if your car has any kind of power.

The car will not see any racetracks, but I tend to corner and brake agressively. I will be taking the family out on cruises, and expect to drive to work on nice days.
When I had the car together I had Eagle ST's on it, and wore 1/2 tread in 10,000 miles. That was with a 350 2 bbl that would not spin a tire if it was paid.

I think any of the tires you listed will work fine for what you've got in mind. It just comes down to price and styling.
