400 WS starter ID
Can anyone verify if the starter I removed from a 68 WS engine is original? The numbers are 1108380 7 M 14. The engine is a January 68 (A) code.

I don't have a 68 shop manual around to verify the part #, but the date code reads Dec 14, 1967 which puts it about perfect to your engines build date. Jeff
