Default Engine builder in SoCal

Can anyone recommend a decent and reliable engine re-build shop in So Cal? I picked up my 400 engine over the weekend now time to drop her off for rebuild. Thanks in advance for any replies. I am located in Fontana, about 45 Minutes east of L.A.

Call Ken at PPR in San Pedro. He's smart, fair, reasonable and he listens to what you want.

Default L.A. engine builder

I used a guy named Geno Rojas to build my 389 last year and am very happy with the results (I believe Ace's shop did the machining and balancing). Geno's on this forum under Blackbird72 I believe.

Bottom line is that I've heard nothing but great things about Ace at PPR and same from Ace about Geno -- Geno's located in northern LA in Castaic (his number is 818 468 7205) and Ace is in Long Beach.....those are the only guys I'd trust with a pontiac in the LA area.

I would also recommend Geno Rojas, he's a very honest and knowledgeable guy who really knows his Pontiacs.
