I would like to introduce myself to this forum. I am a lifelong car guy and have a small collection. I have owned two Grand Prix in the past. I recently sold my 1980 Camaro Z28and was told by a couple of members on NastyZ28.com this is the best Pontiac forum. I look forward to learning more about Pontiacs!

Welcome....So, you've sold your Z/28, you've owned Grand Prix in the past....The question is, what Pontiac are you buying or thinking of buying that would bring you here now?
Oh yeah, pics of it too...

![]() BTW a triple green '69 GTO is pretty cool IMO, and probably very low production. Midnight green: Is that different than Verdoro green? If so, it's quite scarce. The guy de-valued that car if you ask me. |

I tend to agree with you and yes, Midnight is different that Verdoro and kind of rare...especially with the green top.

I thought green cars were very popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

What would have been the most popular color vinyl top color with midnight green?

Yeah, black for sure. Black tops came with most every color car that had a vinyl top.
As for Green being popular back in the day...Why do you think there are so many of them?
