For Sale 1971 Pontiac 455 HO Engine for Trans Am. Heads Are #197. Intake Runners Have Been Smoothed.
Engine is completely rebuilt and period correct. Engine Code is YE 455 HO 4 Bolt Main Block and Date is 9/02/70, Heads Are 12/08/70 and 1/08/71.
Ready to drop into car and go, just add fuel pump, carb and oil and dist. Parts include New Forged Connecting Rods,
Keith Black Hypereutectic Pistons, Harland Sharp 1.5:1 Roller Rockers, Comp Cams Push Rods,
Blue Racer Camshaft .442/.465 Lift, 272/282 Duration, Clevite Main Bearings, Federal Mogul Rod Bearings.
Double Roller Timing Set. Block and Heads are Coded 3 months apart for Automatic Car and are Early 71.
Also Comes with New Set of Ram Air Restoration Enterprises 2 1/2" Collector Round Port Exhaust Manifolds.

Do you know what car this came out of? Can you post the VIN that is stamped on the block?

Block came out of a 71 Trans Am that was once located in DM Iowa, car is now believed to no longer exist. Numbers that I can read are C or Q 133134, and 107657
