You should have seen the day last summer when my dog who's name is Brewster had Brewster (Brian) backed into the corner of our kitchen in fear. LOL

Cute dogs, love 'em. We don't spend enough time at home to keep a dog although we have almost 2 acres to roam. We'd really love a border collie.

All we have is this 17 yr old guy:

Jerry Garcia in his younger years

these are my two, both are American Staffordshire Terriers , NOT pitbulls Ren ( the other half ....I'm Stimpy, long story ) is the black brindled one ( shes half staffie and Boxer ) she was found out side of a firedept by a firedept member on a cold Janauary day in a shoe box , when she was brought to the shelter , she wasn't expected to survive ( pnuemonia and malnurished as she wasn't weened when they found her , she barely weighed about a pound , and was about 3 weeks old . shes now going to be 3 years old this December ,

the white one is Oddy ( yes from Garfield one of my favorite cartoons and also my CB handle because a plate of lasagna is not safe near me and I hate mondays ) He is full blod staffie ) he was also a shelter dog they rescued him and part of his siblings they got 2 others but the rest was lost but they did prosicute the person who was breeding them for bait dogs , he was 6 weeks when we got him he lives up tohis name with his antics , his 2 surviving sisters where adopted out the same week as him ( the names they gave them at the shelter was moe , larry and curly ( Oddy was larry ) , the foster who was takig car of the 3 adopted his sister and lives in the same town , we are supposed to reunite the two so they can play but the foster is busy with the shelter and work . Oddy will be 2 in august , he was Rens early birthday present Thanksgiving , and she treats him very well and acts like a momma to him at times . I found the firedept that resued Ren and have to make some time to go over and than the people who saved here , as at the time I was having very bad problems and Ren has done alot to help me step thru them also to show them one of there Saves .. the people at the shelter love seeing her and still can't believe how well she has turned out , they didn't epect her to live long and told us that when we got her , but I had dogs inthe past and like a child any little problem and we are off to the Doctor , and my brothers wife is a vet tech so I get alot of free help from her too .

Remeber there are lots of good animals that need homes and spending the money at a shelter is a wise investment for a furry pal , as the saying goes lock your wife in the trunk and your dog in the trunk for a hour and when you let them out see who is happier to see you ... these guys made my days great after a bad day at work . and still do now I am retired

When we lost our dog and cat about 7 years ago we decided not to replace them. My wife doesn't suffer from allergy problems anymore and we can come and go as we please without having to worry about taking care of them.
With that being said, we have a dog on each side of us as well as one behind us that are like grand-kids. We play with them then send them home! Here are pics of two.
Mary can stand flat footed and jump to the top of a 4" chain link fence. And Harley doesn't have to do anything but be Harley.

My dogs in their halloween costumes. They greeted the children but wanted to eat all the candy. The white one is a Llewelling Setter and the brown one is mixed and a pound rescue.
