Welcome to the site, lots of good info here. I will be at the AllPontiac show in Surrey as well. Even though I'm an Island Boy.

I hear ya, the one thing that will drive me to moving away from here when I retire is the weather ...

anyway, here's my show schedule for this season:

June 12 - all pontiac show (see above)

June 19 (fathers day) - GM Orphans Show and Shine - Waterfront Park (North Van) - http://www.bcoldsmobileclub.ca/ - used to be just the Oldsmobile club show, but last year opened up to include all GM orphans, the Italian cars & bikes have their show the same day on the other side of the park, beautiful setting on the grass with harbour & downtown in background, usually good weather and large crowds, lots of great photo ops, I've heard that cars shouldn't be photographed on grass (not their natural environment or some such nonsense) but I like a grass setting, makes every car instantly look like it's been lowered about 4 inches.

August 21 - Western Washington Firebirds Show - Bothell (Seattle) - http://www.allpontiacshow.com/ - http://www.wwfirebirds.com/ - well worth the trip, we usually go down on Friday morning and make a weekend out of it.

August 28 - GM Motorama - Dueck on Marine - http://www.bccadillacclub.ca/ - open to all GM products, dealership clears off their front lot for the day for the show cars, many cars from the dealership owner's personal collection on display in the showroom, no judging, very laid back and a good way to finish the season.

Here's my photo albums from the shows last season -

Orphans - http://s490.photobucket.com/albums/r...rphans%20Show/

WWF - http://s490.photobucket.com/albums/r...n%20Firebirds/

Motorama - http://s490.photobucket.com/albums/r...GM%20Motorama/

the other show I'm thinking about this year is the GTOAA national convention in Portland July 4-8 - http://goatherd.com/events/2011-gtoaa-intl-convention/ - I hesitate to go since my pontiac is about as far from a GTO as you can get, but I think there is a display class for "other pontiacs" and it may be my only chance to ever get to a pontiac "national" event of any kind
