Has anyone here used the Dynacorn full trunk pan on their 69? If so how was the fit, especially around the tail light panel.
I ordered one from Goodmark but they say it is a crappy fit and would not sell it to me. Does anyone have any other recommendation aside from Goodmark or Dynacorn. |

I used one from the parts place (not sure of manufacturer) and it seemed to fit very well. Now, I'm no pro rebuilder and was learning to weld at the time, but it looks fine from the trunk.

Thanks Andy. How did it fit around the tail light panel, especially the section where it rises up in the middle between the tail light holes. Did it fit right in or did you have to cut and modify

I installed a Dyna Corn 1 piece in my 69. Fit very well and I too am not a body man. How ever it will not go to the tail light panel as these were made for all A body cars and that part of the panel I believe is patterned for a Chevelle. It needs to be spliced in before the tail light panel as the hump for the fuel filler tube is differant.

I may have a hump for you to graft in.
I used a Dynacorn full pan in my Judge and luckily the original rear tailpanel hump was still usable. Fit very well |

I will let you know, I will likely take you up on that. Is it in good shape. |

Yes. If yours in in bad shape you will need a donor panel to graft in.

I am in the process of installing the one piece floor and yes they are different where they meet to the rear body panel plus it is about an inch shorter. Mine too was pretty bad where it welds to the rear body panel so I will have to fab something up to get all the measurements right.

There are two different trunk pans used on 69 gto's from the factory. The trunk pan was changed somtime in early april as far as I can tell. The early pan has an oval shaped hump on the front "shelf". Late pans have the same hump as the 70. Neither trunk pan is reproduced. The reproduction pan available is for a 68 gto. It has the correct "hump" for the early cars. For the later cars, a 69 Chevelle trunk has the propper shape. Both of these pans will need the entire rear section re-used from an original trunk.

The photo of Goatnuts is also what I have in my 69, just as i stated, mine is far too gone to be useable so I am not on the hunt for a section to graft in.
