if somebody could tell me how the brackets on the left are installed and pics would be appreciated.i believe the ones on the right are 1/4 glass stops and the left attach to the doors for the windows.the other pic shows where i cannot find those brackets and do not see a listing in the catalogs for them.all help is great.

The brackets on the left are the rear window guides on the doors. You see the slot in the top of the inner door webbing in your pic. The felted piece goes up from underneath and that nutted stud screws down from the top to hold it in place. It's an inner guide to stop the window from coming in closer to the door panel. After the stud is screwed in, the rear perch for holding the door panel goes on the stud, then a nut over that. I've got a door panel off on my vert I can take a picture tonight to clarify the guide/stud/perch sandwich

and yes, you're correct on the right side ones being for the quarter glass.

ahhhh,
was not clear in my fisher manual.is that sandwich only used on the rear slot? what about up front ? anyone know where i can find thge brackets and studs that connects them.

we're talking 69 here right? 68 had a pointed triangle bracket for the door panel and didn't use a front guide. 69 has them up front as well but they're not on the same post, the door panel bracket bolts on to the front and the guide is just a bolt holding it on further back. I've got a bin full of these somewhere, I'll look for it tomorrow.
