Default Need a GTO door latch - will a wagon latch work?

I am working on a friend's 68 GTO. The passenger side door latch won't latch.

I have a front passenger side door latch out of a 70 Olds Cutlass wagon. Will it fit?

I might have a 71 GP passenger side door latch. Will it fit?

Thanks
Carmak

I have a 68 wagon, but I never really compared the latch with my hardtop. I would suspect that the 70 would not work since the inside lock knob was moved forward after 68. So even if they were both hardtop latches they did change from year to year. I can check my parts books.

I have a good latch for you. Is there anything else you need from the door?

Thumbs up

I could use the door handles on the out side if they are not pitted bad, And some door hinges on the driver side, And 2 nice vent windows with the crome, rear vew mirrow, and ds door mirrow. Thank you very much Randy.
