Default YS block question

I just picked up a YS block, it is drilled and tapped for a 4 bolt main. I was informed by the owner that this was a factory set up. I have never seen a YS with a 4 bolt has anyone else

Yep, a lot of the 400 blocks in 1970 were drilled/tapped for 4 bolt mains.

My YS has the 4 bolt holes but 2 bolt caps, also.
