Default convertible top issue

I am unable to get the top to go back up. Thinking I may need a new switch, since the last time I had it down, there was a hesitation before it came up (after wiggling the switch). Any suggestions?

Could have blown the fuse. Esp if the top is stiff, rusty, dirty hinges etc. could be pump motor , air in lines, hydrolics and grounds.
Do you hear the motor try to work at all?

They draw a lot of cuurent especially if everything isn't up to snuff. There is an automatic circuit breaker in the system and when overheated will trip. You have to wait about 1-5 minutes for it to reset

Thanks guys, I appreciate it much. We (a friend who is not electrically challenged, and mechanical) did some testing, unhooked the wire to the top motor, and found no electrical current going to the motor, so we "jumped" the motor and at least got the top to go up. The motor would work in the down, but nothing in the up. It is all clean and top is not stiff.
I will try a new switch and report back once it's in. Thanks again for the insight.

The new switch from PY is what was needed. It was fairly easy to install also (would have been easier if I had tiny fingers).
