Question Timing Chain Cover 1965 GTO, Tempest Big Pontiac ID

I'm thinking that timing chain cover with cast number 9790347 is correct for 1964 and 1965. Am I correct? Can't find any info in doing a search for this. The wedsite mentioned in a 2003 post is no longer valid.
Thanks for any help.

No, the correct cover is 9773371. I posted a picture of my '64 just being assembled. I'm fairly sure '64 and '65 are the same. You can identify them easily by the single pointer for the timing mark.

Thanks, here's picture, it's not correct of a 66, but similar as far as the timing tab is concerned.

Another thing to look for with the 64-65 single pointer you need the matched balancer. As the later years will hit the pointer
