Default Paint removal from hood scoop inserts?

I have and extra pair of hood scoop inserts for my 69 GTO that I cut open. Whats a good way to strip the old paint off? Can I use a chemical stripper?

Thanks,
Eric

Chemical stripper will work fine, just rinse it thoroughly afterwards. If you can give it a light blast with media afterwards it will give it bite for primer.

Thanks, used a paint stripper I had and then a red scotch brite pad to get the last of the paint off and rinsed with water and a clean red scotch brite to clean them up.
