When can we expect to see this car finished?

i am sure it will take him alot less time than you do to restore them. lets see, you finish them with in my opinion a 102%. poci judges give you what 95 to 98% and you get them done in 3 months. so i expect he will finish it in about 1 month and be perfect.

Should go together even faster than a month if you use all original pontiac parts .Everything should fit real nice .

Unfortunately it will be closer to a year before the restoration of the Crystal RA IV is complete. The reason is that I have a Liberty Blue Judge I'm restoring in front of it. The amazing Liberty Blue Judge will go up for sale when completed.

Congrats on the CT RA IV Judge! Sounds like you like Blue Judges? Is the LB a RA IV car too?

i know it will take time, i was just giving greg some crap about how fast and how nice that his restos are done. it just amazing to me that he can accomplish it. i cant seem to get anyone anymore to want to paint a car and take less than a few years to complete it. i found out 30 years ago that i dont have the patience or talent to do paint and body work.

On my PHS collection Crystal T runs about 4% of non judge production and black notchback benches are about 3%, statistically the combination of the two gives you about 75-100 cars.

The number of 1969 Crystal Turquoise GTO's estimated by Jim Wangers with his first hand marketing participation at Pontiac in 1969 is far less than that. We were discussing more in the estimated area of 0.25% or less of total production (72,287) or an estimated 181 or so. With less than two dozen CT's being produced as Judges. Again, these were all just experience from the day based estimates. The bench seats are "extremely rare" as well, much more rare than the CT color. I can count on one hand all the 69 GTO's that I have seen with a bench seat in any color in the last 30 years. Fortunately for me, I own a rare 69 Crystal Turquoise Convertible with a Parchment Bench Seat... |

I based my estimate on the fact that of my 500+ PHS's Crystal T is about 4% (I take out all the CR Judges from the calculation since my deck is overstacked with Judges) and that bench seats represent 5.6% of my PHS's.
If I look at only my non Judges (about 325) then the numbers are as follows; CT: 4.5% Bench overall: 7.5% black bench: 4.0% So if my half a percent sampling of non Judge GTO's is valid then there where about 120 CT black bench non Judge GTO's built in 69. It is actually surprising how the only really rare cars color wise were the two extra cost colors (Windward and Goldenrod) and Champagne. The most popular were the greens, the other blues, red and gold. As for bench seats running at 7-8% that seems in line with what I saw through the 70-80's in my junkyarding days. I've owned two myself over the years (one a 2bbl stripper, the other an AC car, both parchement) For what it's worth I have a bench in my LeMans and I like it better than buckets, can get two kids in front, my girlfriend can snuggle up and the big armrest is super comfy
