1. Nice Falcon there! 2.You have a 4bbl on a 4 cylinder, are you NUTS! 3. Yea, that slant 6 is a great engine. 4. Where is the other half? |

All you guys have us rolling in laughter!! Too true!!
1. When the elder car-part guy refers to it as the "hockey puck on wheels".
2.The whirling noise from the torque tube is normal. 3. Brakes!!! What brakes??!!! 4. Hood and/or grill cost more than the entire parts car. (good thing i guess)

YKYDATW You can't find Tempest parts so you start looking through Corvair parts catalogs.

when you carry wheel chocks in your trunk for when you park on an incline, and just don't trust the parking brake and "PARK" option delete on '61-'62. (maybe it's just a San Francisco thing) and even your own parents warn you about taking corners too fast in these cars because of someone they knew had one/had accident/story of incident/etc. ( yeah , think we're a tad younger gen then the rest of you.) No offense, just clariification of last comment.
