65 gto wire gutter
Does anyone know if there was a wire gutter orginally on the firewall of a 65 gto and if so the location of it? PY offers one in there catolog but I can't find a pic of one. My GTO had one when I took it apart but now I'm not sure it was orginal. Does anyone know for sure how the wiring ran on the firewall? thanks for any help

Yes, there was a gutter. (More like a shield) It kept water off the junction of the wiring harnesses and the fuse box on the engine side of the firewall.

I'm not sure my '65 has that; In my defense, since it was a racecar, it could have been something which was removed and discarded...

@ keith- yours is there, plain as day. It can be seen running under the windshield washer pump and motor.
@ jarhead- yours looks like it might be a different configuration, but it might be an optical illusion. |
