It has a small leak from one of the three needle & seat valves. Finding it is simple. Shut off the engine and look into the airhorns to see which one is leaking gas over the throttle plates.

The problem may just be dirt stuck in one of the needle valves. I have had very good luck with the flat-type valves found in the Tomco kits. The needle valves are the same for all three carbs. It's important to get needle valves that are OK with ethanol.
If you PM me with your address, I'll send you a new assy. for the cost of shipping or a rebuild kit for $15 plus shipping. I would need to know if the kit is for an end carb or the center. You will find that auto parts stores got a little ridiculous with the price of these items.

Mike Wasson sells a check ball setup which has worked very well for me for 6+ years. If your car is hard to start once at operating temp, your timing could to too far advanced.
