Ok, Ron has had great progress over the last week. He has concentrated on just certain parts each day which is what he was gearing up for with all the additions in the recent months. He got side tracked before that by what he calls "squeaky wheels".

I had to remind him that he had already proven to me & others that was a waste of time. Since it only focuses on one set or one header at a time. After he set that header aside he then started production using the metheds he planed all the new tooling around. Now has many boxes with 15 identical parts in them ready to be assembled & is working on the remaining parts for 15 sets. He has a goal of 15 sets to be ready for the coater Mon.

Here's what I see in the shop at this time completed:
all the secondary tubes are ready
half the collectors formed for both primary & secondary collectors
4 complete primaries for 15 sets with ports formed (2 each side)
He has all the necessary flanges

Here's what he will be finishing up by Fri so he can spend the whole weekend welding:
The remaining four primaries for 15 sets (hardest 4 primaries of the sets)
the remaining half of the collectors are cut to size & ready to form
Weld all sets which will take about 16hrs

The only parts needed & are on the way are the collector tabs.

So as I listed that's a little more than 3/4 the way or more already on the way to 15 sets. He isn't concerned with any names on each header at this time & will get to that once there done. Ron did break it down that 10 of these sets are owed headers & 5 sets are new sale headers for expences. The 5 sets are not spoken for & can go to the coater at the same time as the 10 owed sets.

These 15 sets are 2nd gen bird/68'-72' A-body headers. After these 15 sets are completed & dropped off at the coater he will be starting all over. Over the course of the following week to week & half he may have the same amount ready. They will be a mixture of the same as the last 15 plus 1st gen birds & a 64'-67' A-body. There will be far less owed sets to do in that batch & may just stop after that. Then he will start other headers he had on the agenda before since that should be all done. Like his own set!!!!

I don't know when he will have more ready after that. So the 5 sets I mentioned above are the only ones I know of. If anyone wants them better contact him before there welded for those that want the oval collectors.

Deanna,

Same for me, he mailed me 1st of july that he would make a set 2" 3,5 collector but didn't heard anything ( i'm not in a hurry) but i'm curious about the price for the stainless set.

Will Ron be contacting those whose orders are going out? Or is it more of "I may/may not be surprised when I get home from work" sort of deal.

I thought I worded it out pretty well in that post. The second to the last paragraph tells all. I dont know the pecking order. So PM's for the order are not needed. Ron could post much better but as you can see he has posted less & less. He said a long while back he most likely wont post again before hes done & maybe never again. I cant blame him.

I dont know on the SS. I do know that after the second batch is done & he "Finally" builds his own set it will be SS.

Alright Deanna thanks again for chiming in. I didn't imagine he'd be posting up but was curious to see if he had plans for to PM the orders himself or something.

Got home today and no headers. I hope it will happen next week. It will be ten weeks next Tuesday since I was told I would getting mine next. Ten is better than eleven, but not as good as nine. Since I didn't want coating and I supplied my own 3" ball and socket collectors, I should see mine the quickest. It will be awesome when I see that big cardboard box next week. Got to get back to watching the paint dry.

I had to buy another set of headers to get the car moving. I don't care about hurting anybody's feelings, this is BS. I bust my butt to make a living and sent hard earned cash to get nothing but excuses. Ron, if you are on the board you need to come out tell us what the problems are now.

I would gladly sell my headers now that I can't use them. If I could go after the cash I would but like a dumbass I waited too long. I am fed up.

Got home Friday and no headers. There was a cardboard box, but not with headers inside. I hope it will happen this week. It will be eleven weeks next tomorrow since I was told I would getting mine next. eleven weeks is better than twelve, but not as good as ten. Gotta get back to trimming my bonsai tree.

Isn't life hard enough? But to deal with this on again off again deal is just nuts! The biggest thing I see is when something isn't going good Ron stays off the posts, and doesn't let everyone know why or what. JMO
