I'd pay more if I knew my order would be processed and shipped promptly.
I wouldn't make this suggestion if I had to wait weeks, month's or years to get a set and definitley expect my inquiries to be answered in timely fashion!!

The main reason I'm offering to step in. People get a guarantee on shipping date, so far within 2 weeks and I have yet to have to return someone's money due to non-delivery. For the moment its on the simplest terms - no coating and no add-ons, plus header styles and sizes he has done already. In other words, less chance to get hung up on a delivery due to something outside Ron's control.
So anyone on the fence should feel more comfortable ordering. |

When do you think the Stainless headers can be made (in months) or the normal sets with coatings?
I'm not in a hurry but if it will take up to 6 or 7 months i can better look for obx a body headers and adjust them myself. Daan |

Daan.......My personal belief is that in about 3 weeks he is going to have his first sets of stainless. We discussed the stainless ones a few days ago. But I caution everyone about getting too excited and taking my word for it. I'm not there doing the stuff and he could still wind up with something interfering temporarily. Once he makes a set or two, and all is good, he should be able to make them as quickly as the rest.
PS - unless you know something I dont know about someone having DONE a modification on the OBX headers for another model car, I'd be very cautious. Its possible you could get them, realize only one tube needs to be moved slightly, and make an adjustment in an hour. Its also possible that every single tube needs to be moved.......that one tube needs to be moved but theres no room to move it anywhere because the other tubes are in the way, etc. And then theres still the fact that with a 4 tube design they will probably hang WAY below the oil pan on some cars and kiss the road on the first drive. They do look nice though and the price sure is nice. Last edited by aronhk_md; 09-12-2011 at 09:50 AM. |

I don't know of anybody that did it but it should be possible and if the tri y's take too long ( like 6 or 7 months) i thought i give it a try.
Only the material for headers is more then $250 in the Netherlands and if it's not possible i can always sell them. Daan |

I got my headers a couple weeks ago round port for 64-67 and they were not coated I bought these from another PYer who didnt want to wait. I talked to ron before I made the deal and he was very upfront about everything and I recieved them in about a month wich was fine for me I dont know how long it would have taken if I was the original orderer. These are hands down the nicest set of headers I have ever bought regardless of price I have has a couple sets of HO racing headers in the past and they dont come close to rons. I am hoping to have ron build me a set of headers for my OHC-6 when he gets caught up with his current orders. As far as him not responding to people as fast as they would like that all takes time away from him building headers. Ron keep up the good work and thank you very much

Got home today and no headers. I hope it will happen next week. It will be thirteen weeks next Tuesday since I was told I would getting mine next. Could be lucky thirteen and it will be the end of summer as well on Wednesday, so all of the old header orders should be done. That was the plan I guess. Anyways thirteen is better than fourteen, but not as good as twelve. Since I didn't want coating and I supplied my own 3" ball and socket collectors, I should see mine the quickest. Hint, hint, say no more. It will be awesome when I see that big cardboard box next week. My STAINLESS JBA headers look awesome on my 347 stroker in my '86 Mustang. I'm just sayin.
I think we are due for an update again soon, please. |

It does seem weird that I ordered mine non coated back in the beginning of December 2010 and now he is starting stainless and people are ordering now and getting in a month.
Just sayin' Jason

I have emailed Ron and have not had any reply in over a month. He had promissed to deliver my headers by a certain date, or I was going to get my money back thru Pay-Pal. It is obvious now that he is not HONEST! I don't give a crap about his situation(s). This is business pure and simple. He lied and now won't even offer an appology or let us know what is going on. It is a shame that he cannot even email us a note or text those of us whom have trusted him with our money or even call collect for Christ's sake. Are we the bad guys for wanting some service? All I want is a set of headers or my $$ back. How hard is that for someone to understand? Why should I have to pay for someone elses headers, only to hope some other loser pays for mine? I am just frustrated and would like Ron's mailing address, which I am sure if I put my mind to it, I can find.

I emailed him around July 1st with no response either. To be fair, Ron does apologize and offer explanation... frequently. Normally its a story about some BS that has gone his way and for him to come back after years of silence is commendable. He's a great guy and we can dance around how well he means all day because that is the truth.
Unfortunately he hasn't been honest with everyone here. He personally lied to me 6 years ago when he said my headers were a left over set from a previous order and he lied to me again saying they'd be done by the end of July. I'm sure most of you here have very similar stories. I still maintain he's not a crook but I also maintain that he sucks a business owner. I'd love to get a refund and just bow out but I know that's not happening. I dont know why I check this thread every day hoping for some spot of news because at this point, I really don't think I will ever get my order. Aaron: I don't know if I ever thanked you properly for helping me out back in June, but I do appreciate it. Sucks we're still at 0 progress but it is what it is. |

Tomorrow is officially the last day of summer. Or as we all hope, the day all of our headers get finished. Yea, right. I wonder why we all have to be surprised by having our headers suddenly appear on our doorstep rather than actually knowing when they get shipped. I for one won't experience as much euphoria for actually getting my headers as I will for having this ordeal behind me, so I don't have to keep thinking about it. I am sure Ron would like the same for himself, but for now he has all of the controls in his hands on how this plays out.

Yeah, I am tired of being gentle, this is BS. Ron or whoever is handlig your affairs, you need to come clean with us. I had a huge argument with my wife when she found out I got took for this much cash. Hell, I don't want them anymore, but I damn sure want my money back, or some justice.
Perhaps the group needs to consider further actions. |

Someone good at tracking needs to find us Ron Watt's physical address. The only thing besides a lawsuit would be to handle it "old school" and pay Ron a visit. I hate bums, deadbeats, liers and liberals. Iv'e busted my ass for everything I've ever gotten like most of you. No one has the right to steal from us or anyone wealthy or poor. If we get a list of how many sets are owed to people and dollar amount, we may be able to get the Feds involved? I only have $610.00 invested, but as a group we may be talking 10, 20 or 30K? I know Ron recieves monthly checks and has a paper trail. He should not be hard to track down. I will post when I find his address. Its a shame we have to deal with this. All we wanted to do was purchas a product and help a small business man in our beloved Pontiac community. What did we get for it? No product, no lube and no call the day after

Hate to say it I was thinking about ordering a set. Now No thank you. Til he is either caught up or squared up with all on this Forum. I would recommend take your business elsewhere. Or if you want to take the chance dont bitch. Most everyone has been following this saga knows the situation by know. Just Buyer beware is all I'll say. Shame they look to be a nice product.

I wonder whats been happening since the last real schedule below was laid out. The Monday referred to here for 15 sets being ready to go the coater, or in my case ready to be ship to me without coating, would have been August 29th. 4 weeks next Monday. Also, the 16hrs to completely weld 15 sets referred to below, would equate to 0.8hrs a day, if divided over the course of the preceding month and Ron worked on them 5 days a week. Assuming they didn't get flatten and made into pretzels on the way to the coater. I would like to be a fly on the wall watching Ron work, on second thought, maybe not. A webcam would be nice, just to check on him once in a while.
for consistency sake I thought I would add it will be fourteen weeks next Tuesday, since I told I was next to get mine. Legal action wouldn't amount to much of anything. I don't think Ron has the 10, 20 or 30k or whatever to cover any of that action. "Blood from a turnip" and so on. Quote:
