Default They say there are no dumb questions... (66 Bonneville Hood)

But does anyone know how to pop the hood on the 66 bonneville??

My 65 has a lever under the front nose that I just push to the side and that unlatches the hood, then I of course have to move the safety latch to fully open it.

I have a friend at work selling his '66 and said I could pop the hood to look at the engine on my way out of work but I could not for the life of me find any equivalent lever under the nose to unlatch..

It's a bit of a clunker.. maybe it was removed and I need to look for the mystery wire that now is attached to the latch?

Thanks
Mike

Mike, I think it opens a lot like '65s do...check for mystery release mechanism either under the hood or under the dash!
