Default OEM style leaf spring rebound clips

Nobody makes these....or is there a source?

I'm gauging interest on this repop leaf spring clip .

I Was going through A big box I have that I keep parts that I repoped but don't sell very many anymore and came across these OEM design leaf spring rebound clips. I originally made these for the Bob C who was restoring this T/A at the time.

I would do another run of these if there were enough interest. A set includes 4 smaller clips and 2 of the larger ones

Craig:

I'm not positive but I think you can buy those from Eaton Spring. If not, I would be interested in a couple sets if you do it. Nice looking parts you have there as usual.

Norwood,

I just might be interested in a set as I'm getting ready to repaint my leafs.

Any ball park number on price?

Also do you know of a source for the rubber pads that goes between these clips and the leaf?

Craig:

Detroit Eaton Spring shows rebound clips as available but they do not list a 1 piece clip for a 2 1/2" leaf spring width, only a 2 piece. My guess is that they are just not in the catalog and a phone call may score you a set. The sliders that go between the springs are listed.

Bob, the ones that Eaton shows on the web site are of a different design. The reason that I did these in the first place is because we could not find a supplier of this style.
These would be 30.00 a set. I need to give Eaton a call I guess to see what they have available. If they have this style then I will pass on doing these, but if they don't I am going to do a run.

Dave Nelson a member over at Nasty Z found these. I just ordered a set of these to check out. They look correct, I will post after I get them and see the fit.

Craig: Eaton obviously installs them on their leaf springs because those are what are on my Eaton springs. I would be surprized if they didn't have them. Let us know what you find out.

Bob and other interested parties here is EATON'S responce. I don't think that this is an option.

Craig,

Yes, we sell the one piece clip, however, it comes as a straight strip. You will have to bend it at the spot you want to install it, cut it to size, then drill a hole for the tab it install it. They are $5.95 each plus $10.00 shipping.

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, Money Orders, Wire Transfers, Checks and Cash. Sorry no COD.

Between Nasty and PY it looks like about 20 sets. This makes this a doable project if the ones from Macs don't turn out to be correct.

There is enough interest so I am doing this reproduction. Included will be a total of 6 clamps, 4 small and 2 large. This is good for one set of springs. This is for THE CLAMPS ONLY. The clamps listed for sale buy MACS will not work as they are for a 2" wide spring.

PM me for details on how to purchase these
