is a spring a spring?
are all tempest /lemans springs created equal? is there a difference between the 4cylinder front springs and 8cylinder fronts? what about the rears?

No, Different springs for Coupe, convert, wagon, 4 cyl, V8, etc, etc.

Those on the higher end of the 25# were coded and went in the left (driver's side), at least on V8 big Pontiacs. This kept the ride height level over time because many cars just have a driver and no passengers much of their life. I do not recall if 4-cyl Tempests got heavier right front springs or equal. My guess is heavier right sides. Jon
